VNC + Media Streaming Combo

Got vnc and media streaming working... :)

i can now vnc and control my pc to get VLC streaming video to G1.

Will post it on youtube soon.

    So does this need a PC? Or is it a stand alone VLC player for the G1 (and why hasn't anyone done this so far?)?

    For streaming, it's mplayer running on G1 (receiver) and vlc player running on PC (sender).

    Cannot find mplayer for the G1. Is this app in the market? Would be very interested in streaming from vlc to G1...
