You're a real hero man. I'm a big fan of your work... hope you make millions out of it :)
well...i'm just a middle man who happens to understand (well..at least trying to) the both sides (gp2x and linux/android).The real credit goes to the original author who I've listed on g1gpx web site.http://jrioni.l4rge.com/pub/credit.htm(i haven't listed squidge/snes9x team for snes yet)
for those complaining about speed, i would suggest the overclocking tool for android which is freely available (It will only clock your device to the advertised speed of ~528 MHz instead of the downclocked ~300 MHz you get for reasons concerning battery life)
Jrioni, we all understand how much you are involved in the project, and how hackish it has been to make roms available on android. But ,as you say, you stand on shoulder of giants. So, while we are sincerely happy for people buying your application on the market (I personally agree this choice), we'd prefer you to let your changes to the emu's and ui be fully available as sourcecode through other channels, or as patches on the respective original source code, as stated by respective licence. Hoping in your success, as coder/hacker, i'll then follow and contribute to your project.
Fantastic! Emulating gp2x emulated roms. I whish android g1 has enough horse power to emulate the psx emu too.. maybe using native code + opengles acceleration, I'd help anytime for it!
I sure hope emulation becomes more possible with TEGRA which has a dedicated Geforce GPU...Thanks a BUNCH JRIONI.... You're making millions of dreams come true...Can't wait to have all Metal Slugs running on my phone!
